Mangroves of Dzinitun, Celestun

“Nature interaction within the mangroves of Celestún”

 

 

 

 

Depart from Mérida City at noon, towards Celestún. After being welcomed, enjoy a delicious lunch of Fish Fillet á la Tikin-xic or Fried Fish (other lunch options like Poc-chuc pork or Vegetarian Salad are available, please request them beforehand). After a requisite rest from lunch, the tour of the beautiful mangroves begins in small canoes, with a walk down a winding pathway to observe the local flora and fauna, followed by biking ‘till sunset.  Return to Merida.
