Navigate through the beautiful mangroves in your kayak, learning about the importance of the ecosystem. Afterwards, visit the Archaeological site of Xcambó, once a Maya city of great importance, producing salt that they traded with other great Mayan cities. After the visit, head to the beach at Progreso to enjoy lunch right on the sand, facing the sea under the shade of a thatched palapa, ending the tour with a cruise down the boardwalk, enjoying a crispy hot "marquesita" (rolled up waffer stuffed with grated gouda cheese, the perfect sweet and salty dessert).

Tour Itinerary includes:
-Departure from your hotel at 9:00 am.
-Transportation in Air conditioned vehicle.
-Bilingual guide (English-Spanish)
-Kayak tour through the mangroves.
-Entrance to the Archaeological site of Xcambó
-Bird watching of Pink Flamingos, as well as other sea birds.
-Purified water during tour
-Seafood based lunch
-Visit to the beach of Progreso
-Return to hotel at 5:00 pm.

Tour Prices

We recommend: bring sunblock, wear your swimsuit under clothing, hat, comfortable shoes and an extra change of clothing.

Price per person:
Children under 5 years old stay at Kayak Stop with adult supervision (we have nanny services upon request).
Children 0-2 years old are free, Children 2-4 years old pay $50 USD. Children older than 5 years pay full amount.
